A nine year old non-descript she buffalo was presented to Veterinary College Hospital, Bidar during the month of November 2017 with the history of severe epistaxis. Endoscopic examination of nasal cavity revealed pin head sized eruptions and congestion of nasal mucosa. Microscopic examination of nasal washings revealed boomerang –shaped eggs of S. nasalis with fully developed miracidium inside. The buffalo was treated with single oral dose of Praziquantel @ 20 mg /kg b.wt along with supportive therapy. The buffalo recovered completely after the treatment.
