During the study of wild and domestic ruminants, 87 helminth species were found in them, of which 7 are belonging to trematodes, 12 to cestodes, and 68 to nematodes. 31 species of these helminths were included in the main causative agents of helminthiasis. Among the main helminthiasis causative agents found, 24 species were recorded in all studied animals as common, while 37 species were characterized by limited spread as specific species. The role of intermediate hosts in the spread and transmission of the main helminthiasis agents in the areas has been determined.
To define the role of these animals, which are of special epizootological and epidemiological importance, in the spread of the main pathogens of helminthiasis is relevant, and it is considered appropriate to develop preventive measures against their spread.
